The process of independent controllability for high-end automation equipment keeps advancing. Rotary DD torque motors have long relies on overseas brands, bringing pain points such as long procurement lead time, high customization cost and slow after-sales response. Especially in the range from small & medium torque to medium-heavy load, there is a lack of standardized domestic products that balance easy installation, high performance and cost-effectiveness. Independently developed by SMARTWIN Intelligent Equipment, the DH series modular torque motors from a complete matrix of six torque specifications. The integrated finished structure lowers the threshold of equipment integration, makes up for the shortage of standardized domestic direct-drive torque motor products, and speeds up the domestic replacement of rotary components for automation equipment in various industries.

SMARTWIN Intelligent Equipment independently completes the full set of design and production for magnetic circuits, windings and housings of DH motors. The six models form a complete torque gradient: DH04 is designed for compact light-load precision stations; DH09 and DH13 target heavy-duty tooling and large-size rotary tables. The continuous torque ranges from 4.1 N.m to 492 N.m with a maximum peak torque of 1180 N.m, covering the load requirements of most automated rotary equipment on the market. The core product performance matches imported modular DD motors of equivalent specifications. Featuring three core strengths including high torque density, low cogging effect and zero-backlash transmission, the motors meet the precision and dynamic performance demands of high-end equipment such as precision machining, new energy and medical inspection devices.

Compared with imported split frameless motors, DH modular motors come fully integrated with complete housing and positioning benchmarks from factory. Equipment manufacturers can assemble and use them directly upon receipt, eliminating multiple processes such as housing machining, bearing matching and complete machine calibration, which greatly reduces machinery processing costs and R&D cycles for equipment makers. The electrical interfaces and mounting flange dimensions feature high versatility. They can serve as direct replacements for similar imported DD motors in most scenarios without redesigning the overall machine structure, bringing lower transformation costs. The complete motor set can be matched with SMARTWIN ’s proprietary AKS servo drives and full-range encoders. The entire motion control solution is independently developed domestically, free from restrictions on supply lead times of overseas core components.
